Steelers over the Ravens
Right now the line is even between Pittsburgh and Baltimore. You have ride the Steelers while they are hot. There is no way Big Ben can repeat his career day, but the Steelers have been unbelievably hot since the middle of the second quarter of their Monday Night Football game against Houston. Antonio Brown has been unstoppable this year.
Colts -3 over the Giants
Indy lost Sunday, but their offense still had a big day. The G-Men have looked better lately than they did to start the year, but Andrew Luck and T.Y. Hilton should be enough to get the win Monday night. If this was Colts -6.5 I would probably take New York, but with only a three point spread I’ll take Indy minus the points.
Redskins +2.5 at Minnesota
Nobody should read too much in to the Skins win in Dallas last night. The Redskins and Cowboys rivalry has taught us over the years to expect the unexpected, and what could have been more unexpected than Washington winning in Dallas last night? Having said that, neither the Redskins nor the Vikings are very good. I’m taking the Redskins because they will be riding momentum going Minneapolis.
Carolina -2.5 against New Orleans
It is dumb to pick against Drew Brees in prime time, but the Saints have been bad on the road in the past. Their less than stellar 3-4 record makes me think they are not in position to break this trend yet. The Panthers have not looked great lately either, but their is nothing more dangerous than a Thursday night home underdog!
