Florida State -3.5 at Louisville
You have to believe this line is so close because of the distractions this week in Tallahassee. With the Jameis Winston saga all year and now a domestic violence claim, the Seminoles can’t be 100 percent focused on the Cards. Florida State is a much better team than Louisville, but this is the best chance for the Seminoles to lose all year. Thursday night road games are always dangerous but surely they can cover 3.5 points.
Virginia Tech -3 against Boston College
The Hokies have been inconsistent all season. The same team that beat Ohio State in a night game at “The Shoe” came home and got beat pretty badly by East Carolina. Boston College is a little better than recently, but Va Tech should have no trouble covering this one at home.
Kentucky +6.5 at Missouri
Kentucky lost last week, but they proved they could put up points on good teams. They hung with the number one team in the country, and now they travel to Mizzou. The Tigers have been very disappointing this year, and Kentucky has been better than most people expected. I’m taking Kentucky plus the points, but I think Kentucky will win this game outright.
USC -6.5 at Washington State
USC lost a heart-breaker in Salt Lake City Saturday night. The Utah students rushed the field, and the Trojans had depressing flight back to L.A. This week they are going to take the anger out on a pathetic Washington State defense. The Cougars have a solid offense that is fun to watch, but their defense is just bad. USC should easily win by at least a touchdown.
